Edit and Re-Publish content on WordPress

If you're in the content industry, you know the importance of keeping your website's content fresh and up-to-date.

But what happens when you need to make changes to a published post? Luckily, Scalenut’s integration with WordPress makes it easy to edit and re-publish content, allowing you to keep your site current without having to start from scratch.

In this blog post, we'll walk you through the steps of editing and re-publishing content on WordPress, so you can make updates quickly and efficiently.

Whether you're a seasoned user or just getting started, this guide is for you. So, let's dive in and learn how to keep your content looking its best.

How to Use the ‘Edit Again’ and the ‘Update’ button?

To know how to publish an article on WordPress via Scalenut, check this guide.

Let’s say, you’ve already published a blog on WordPress and have later realised that you need to add a few more points to it. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

STEP 1

Open the Article Writer and click on the article of your choice. Once opened, head over to the ‘Apps’ and select ‘WordPress Publisher’

STEP 2

Once you click on ‘WordPress Publisher’, the right side of your screen shows the publishing details of the post. Click on ‘Edit Again’.

Please note: If you have created the blog via Scalenut, you can see the Post ID here when you are updating the article.

In case of a new post, Post ID is not available. But if you have posted the article before independently and are updating it via Scalenut, you’d have to get the Post ID from WordPress itself.

STEP 3

Now, make the necessary edits to the article and click ‘Update’.

Here, you can also update the featured image, categories and tags.

STEP 4

Click on ‘Update’ once more to confirm.

And voila! You’re done re-publishing the article.
