Generating Account Details on WordPress

WordPress allows supported apps to integrate its workflow via a unique password, different from what you use to log in to your WordPress profile.

Steps to create a New Application Password on WordPress

  • Users can get the login details on their WordPress Admin panel. For this, head to the ‘Profile’ option under the ‘Users’ option in the left pane.

  • Scroll down to find the ‘Application Password’ option.
  • Enter a name in the ‘New Application Password Name’ field, and tap on the ‘Add New Application Password’ button.

  • WordPress will display a unique 24-character password, which can be used for integration with Scalenut.

How to integrate your WordPress account on Scalenut via WordPress Publisher?

How to Publish a Scalenut report or export it as a draft on WordPress?

Scalenut allows one-click publishing of prepared Scalenut reports seamlessly via the Scalenut account. Here are the steps to follow:

  • Click on the ‘Article WriterSEO Docs’ option on the left-middle of your Scalenut Dashboard.
  • Now, open the SEO document you would like to publish.

  • Click on the Apps in the top bar and choose the ‘WordPress Publisher’ option. It will open the WordPress Publisher pane on the right side of your screen.

  • Choose the Domain, Author, Visibility, and Date of Publishing. The Title text box will be auto-populated from the SEO report itself based on the first H1 title.

  • Now, scroll down to fill in the other requisites, such as the featured image, categories, and tags, and check the ‘Discussion’ option for allowing comments on the post.

  • You can now choose to save the post as a draft on your WordPress account by clicking on the ‘Export as Draft’ button. Alternatively, tap on the ‘Publish' button if you want the report to go live on your website immediately.

  • Clicking on the Publish button will show you the final export settings to ensure you have it exactly as you would like. Click on the ‘Publish’ button to confirm.

Scalenut will automatically export the media associated with the SEO Doc to your WordPress Library. Also, there is support for YouTube-embedded iframe for a seamless transition.
