How to upgrade or downgrade a plan?

Scalenut allows users to upgrade/downgrade their subscription plan with a few easy steps. Read the guide to understand better.

Steps to upgrade your existing Scalenut plan

In the journey toward success, adaptability, and progress are key. At Scalenut, we understand that your ambitions might outgrow the limits of your current plan. 

So, we offer a seamless way for our ‘Essential’ or ‘Growth’ plan users to upgrade to a superior plan. Here’s how you, too, can do it -


Log into your Scalenut account, hover over the Profile tab, and click on the Subscriptions option.


On the redirected screen, you will see an overview of all the plans available for your upcoming billing cycle. 


Click on the Upgrade Plan button related to the plan you wish to upgrade. For example, if you are a Free/Essential plan user, you can upgrade to the Essential/Growth or the Pro plan.  Similarly, Growth plan users can upgrade to the Pro plan by clicking on the Upgrade Plan option in blue. 


The next screen will allow you to confirm the changes to the billing cycle to give it effect from the next cycle. It will be on the payment screen. Fill in the card details, and you’d be good to go.

Voila! You’ve successfully upgraded your plan.

Steps to downgrade your existing plan

Embracing flexibility is the cornerstone of a well-crafted plan and your preferences should always guide your journey. So, we've streamlined the downgrading process if circumstances prompt the need to adjust your plan.

For example, if you are a Growth plan user, you can downgrade to the Essential plan. While if you are a Pro Plan user, you can downgrade to the Growth or the Essential Plan. Here’s how -


Log into your Scalenut account, hover over the Profile tab, and click on the Subscriptions option.


Select the appropriate plan you want to move to. 

For example, Growth plan users can switch to the Essential plan, or Pro users can shift to the Growth or Essential plan. 


Click on the associated ‘Downgrade Plan’ option available in the description.

Then, confirm the changes in the next screen to give effect to the changes. 

Please Note: 

When you choose to downgrade your plan, any difference in costs will be refunded as credit balance which you can use during your next renewal. All you need to do is after you initiate the downgrade, inform us on chat. Our dedicated support team will handle the rest for you, ensuring you have a stress-free experience.
