Are you an experienced content writer/marketer aiming to refine your website or a newcomer eager to elevate user engagement? Mastering the art of leveraging the interlinking feature is paramount to your success.

After all, the vast world of online content can be overwhelming for both creators and consumers.

And here’s where the interlinking feature comes into play. It is a powerful tool that can help navigate this complex web of information, and offers a seamless roadmap for connecting and exploring content.

Don’t know where to start? In this help guide, we will explore the interlinking feature and navigate through the process of including it in our article.

What is interlinking?

Interlinking, or internal linking, refers to creating hyperlinks that connect one page or post on a website to another page or post within the same website domain.

What are the benefits of interlinking?

  • Enhances website navigation: Interlinking simplifies access to relevant content, improving the overall navigation of the website.
  • Distributes link equity: Internal links serve as a means to distribute authority or "link juice" throughout the website, a crucial aspect in SEO.
  • Improves crawlability: Internal links aid search engine crawlers in discovering and indexing content, contributing to enhanced SEO performance.
  • Affects search engine ranking: Well-structured internal linking positively influences how search engines perceive the relevance and importance of your content.
  • Reduces bounce rate: Internal links decrease bounce rates by providing more opportunities for user engagement, indicating higher satisfaction.
  • Organizes information: Interlinking assists in organizing the content hierarchy, guiding users through a logical flow of information on the website.
