How to Set the Brand Tone?

What is Brand Tone?
The brand tone is how a brand expresses its personality, values, and communication style consistently and intentionally. It includes the choice of language, attitude, and emotions conveyed through marketing channels and customer interactions.

How Do We Set The Brand Tone?
In the Scalenut Dashboard, you can set the tone of your brand from two locations: Article Configuration section of the Cruise Mode and the "Tone of Voice'' sub-part of the "My Account" section.
Let’s first find out how to set the ‘Tone of Voice’ in the Cruise Mode.
Login to your Scalenut account. Then, click the “Article Writer/ Cruise Mode'' button available on your Scalenut Dashboard.
A pop up box will now appear on your screen. Enter the primary keyword and any additional secondary keywords for your topic in the keywords field. Then, choose your target location and click on the “Start” button.
Cruise Mode will now be visible on your screen. In the “Context” section, enter a brief description related to your topic and then proceed to set your brand tone.
Choose and personalize your 'Tone of Voice' in this section. You can let Scalenut automatically determine your brand tone or manually input your desired tone.
If you wish to add a specific tone, click ‘Add New’.
Now, you can paste the content's URL or directly paste the paragraph for our AI to detect. It is important to name your tone for future reference. You can also add the URL of your brand or relevant content to achieve your desired tone.
Please note: On the right panel, you will have some pre-existing tones from our end and any of your previously set tones in the platform.
For example - You want to set the brand tone similar to what you have read on a webpage. Let’s consider that you want to do it by pasting the text instead of the URL. Here’s how you can do it -
- Add the Tone Name
- Paste Brand Text
- Click ‘Add Tone’
Congratulations! You’ve successfully set your brand tone.
Alternatively, you can also access and add new brand tones from the ‘My Account’ section available in the top-right corner of your Scalenut Dashboard. Here’s how you get there -
Login to your Scalenut account and navigate to the circular icon visible on the top-right corner of your Dashboard. Then, select ‘My Account’ and proceed to the next step.
On the redirected page, go to the ‘Tone of Voice’ sub-section on the left panel. Click on it, and you can set your brand tone from here. Follow the same instructions as above and you should be good to go!
