How to Edit or Delete Tags to Manage SEO Reports?

Scalenut Pro users have the privilege of adding multiple members to access their accounts, fostering collaboration. However, without proper management, this can lead to chaos.

To ensure better accessibility and productivity, tags can be utilized to group users based on specific criteria. Here's how you can edit or delete tags in Article Writer.

STEP 1

Under any SEO Article, click on the 'Add Tag' button.

STEP 2

A dropdown menu with all created tags will appear.

STEP 3

Click on the blue 'Manage' text in the top right corner of the dropdown. Edit and delete icons will be displayed next to each tag name.

STEP 4

To edit a tag, click the pencil icon. Rename the tag as desired and click 'OK'

STEP 5

Similarly, to delete a tag, click ‘Manage’ and then the bin icon instead. Now, click ‘Confirm’ to confirm the deletion of this tag. Remember, there is no undoing this change.

The tag will now be permanently deleted.

Here’s one more way in which you can edit/delete these tags - 

STEP 1

Click on your ‘Profile Icon’ on the top right of your screen as shown in the below screenshot.

STEP 2

From the dropdown list, select 'My Account'. This will take you to the 'Profile' section by default.

STEP 3

Switch to the 'Team' section.

STEP 4

This section displays the list of current team members who have access to your account.

STEP 5

Click the 'Edit' button located towards the middle right of the screen. This will open a pop-up window. 

STEP 6

Now, tap the ‘Manage’ option in the ‘Tag’ section.

STEP 7

It will enable two buttons for each tag you have created - ‘Edit’ and ‘Delete.’

• Within the pop-up, select the 'Manage' option in the 'Tag' section. This will enable 'Edit' and 'Delete' buttons for each created tag.
• To edit a tag, click on the Pencil icon, make the necessary changes, and click 'OK' to save the modifications. For instance, you can rename the 'New' tag to 'New 2023'.
• To delete a tag, click on the Bin icon next to the tag you wish to remove. Confirm the deletion by clicking 'Confirm'.
