Auto Optimizer: Overview and Working

Want to utilize the Auto Optimizer feature? Here’s how -

STEP 1

If you wish to try the Auto-Optimizer feature on an existing report, simply select and open your desired report. You can do this from the Content Optimizer module. In case, you wish to try the feature on a new report, follow the usual process of generating an Optimizer report and you are good to go!

STEP 2

Inside the editor, you can find the ‘Auto Optimizer’ feature on the right-hand side of the panel. Click on it to get started.

STEP 3

The first screen of the Auto-Optimizer module will be visible now. In the configuration step,  you can see and select the different parameters you want to work on.
Note: This is the default screen. However, you can select or deselect as per your requirements.

Here’s all that you can configure -

• Include Topic Gaps: It enables you to add the missing topics included in the content of the top competitors. (You can select up to 3 reference URLs)

• Include Key Terms: Enable this to add missing key terms in your existing content to improve your SEO Score. Here, you can also add your own key terms or remove the unwanted ones.

• Fix Meta Tags: Enable this to automatically add missing meta tags for optimizing the existing ones.

• Fix Alt Texts: Enable this to automatically add missing alt texts in images.

• Enable Internal Linking: Provide your domain and we will automatically add the internal links to relevant places in the content to improve your SEO Score.

STEP 4

Once the configuration is complete, go to the bottom of your screen and click on the ‘Optimize Outline’ button for the next step.

STEP 5

In this step, your editor outlines will be automatically added and suggested outlines will be added with a new tag.

STEP 6

Here, you can manually add more headings or questions and then click on the ‘Generate Content’ button to move to the final step.

STEP 7

In this step, your article will be optimized to align with best SEO practices. Upon clicking the ‘Highlight Changes’ button, you will be able to see all the newly added content or suggestions marked as New. Changes made to existing content for better optimization will be marked as Modified. 

This feature ensures full transparency and control over the optimization process, allowing you to review all updates at a glance.

STEP 8

Once satisfied with the result, click on the ‘Export to Editor’ button. Here, a pop-up will appear that indicates ‘Would you like to replace the existing content with new changes?” Clicking on replace will export the new changes to the editor and reset the auto-optimize flow.

And voila! You have successfully leveraged the Auto-Optimizer feature!
